||6 of 6 people found the following review helpful.| This would be a good book to get someone who has just started studying ...|By Kindle Customer|If you are a Civil War buff, little, if anything, in this book will be new-you can probably fill out the stories told here with more detail yourself (I sure could on Joshua Chamberlain, and I've only studied his life from readings online). The writing is okay, but not really captivati|About the Author|Tim Rowland is a humorist and outdoorsman who has written a memoir and several narrative his-tory books. He is also a regular columnist for several newspapers. He lives in Maryland with his family.
